For Petitioner :Mr.C.Prithiviraj For Respondent :Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi Government Advocate (crl.side) O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the Respondents 1 & 2 to provide adequate Police Protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 05.08.2023 forthwith.
2.The petitioner has given a representation on the strength of the order that has been passed by the District Munsif, Nilakottai in I.A.No.407 of 2017 in O.S.No.81 of 2017, against the private respondents restraining them from interfering into the possession and enjoyment of the property till the disposal of the suit. C.M.A.No.13 of 2018, filed by the private respondents also ended in favour of the petitioner on 20.07.2022.
3.It appears that on the strength of the above said Court orders, the present representation has been made by the petitioner seeking police protection for the purpose of carrying out renovation work. Since the suit is pending between the 2/4
parties before the concerned Court, the question of police protection would not arise. The parties can workout their remedy before the concerned civil Court itself. I find no reason to entertain this petition. This petition deserves to be dismissed.
4.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed with the above said liberty.
