PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 3rd respondent to provide Police protection to life and limb of the petitioner from the respondents 4 to 9. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Murugappan For R1 to R3 : Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar Government Advocate (Crl.side) For R4 to R8 : Mr.C.Prabakaran O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 3rd respondent to provide Police protection to life and limb of the petitioner from the respondents 4 to 9.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that on basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, both sides appeared and the defacto complainant stated that she will withdraw this complaint and will file a complaint before the All Women Police Station, Thiruchuli or All Women Police Station, Thallakulam. On that basis, the above said complaint was closed on 01.10.2023.

3. The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that inspite of appearance of this petitioner before the Mediation Centre, the fourth respondent did not appear.

4. Since already the above said complaint was closed, directing the defacto complainant to approach the concerned jurisdictional Police Station, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this matter.

5. With the above said observation, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
