PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to to direct the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for drawing and bringing water through lorries from the petitioners land situated in S.No.370/5A, Mangalakurichi Village, Thoothukudi District to his marriage hall and lodge situated at Tiruchendur in S.No. 1520 /16 and from S.No.134/2 in Kattankulam Village, Thoothukudi District to his company Gringotts Mines India Private Ltd situated in S.No.70/2, Aniyabara Nallur, Village, Thoothukudi District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 21.08.2019 and 26.08.2019 For Petitioner : Mr.I.Robert Chandrakumar For Respondents : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi No.1 and 2 Government Advocate(Crl.Side)

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for drawing and bringing water through lorries from the petitioners land situated in S.No.370/5A, Mangalakurichi Village, Thoothukudi District to his marriage hall and lodge situated at Tiruchendur in S.No. 1520 /16 and from S.No.134/2 in Kattankulam Village, Thoothukudi District to his company Gringotts Mines India Private Ltd situated in S.No.70/2, Aniyabara Nallur, Village, Thoothukudi District.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner lodged complaints on 21.08.2019 and 26.08.2019 on the file of the first and second respondents to take appropriate action as against the third and fourth respondents.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the respondents 3 and 4 and pass orders on merits and inaccordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations and direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of,.
