PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the Respondent No.1 to 3 provide Police Protection for the Petitioner and the Petitioner's family Members life and liberty by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2022 in accordance with law.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the Petitioner and her family members.

2.It is the contention of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner's daughter had committed suicide. She had preferred the complaint against the son-in-law and his family members. Therefore, she seeks police protection from the Respondents. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents would submit that originally the case was registered in Crime No.450 of 2022 for the offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C. Subsequently, it was altered to Section 306 IPC. He would further submit that there is no threat to the Petitioner. The investigation had been completed and the Charge Sheet is also ready.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Since the investigation had been completed, the Respondents shall provide protection to the Petitioner, till the trial is completed. The Respondents 1 to 3 are directed to lay the final report as expeditiously as possible before the Court concerned.
