ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the first respondent to give appropriate direction to the third respondent to give adequate police protection to survey the petition mentioned property as per the representation, dated 07.10.2024, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. It is evident from the records that the petitioner has earlier filed a petition in W.P.(MD)No.12404 of 2024, seeking directions to the Tahsildar, Sathankulam and the Surveyor, Thoothukudi District, to consider the petitioner's representation for survey and this Court has passed an order, dated 13.06.2024, issued directions and wherein the survey authority, if required, was empowered to seek aid of the jurisdictional police and the jurisdictional police are mandated to grant police protection.

3. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the requisition of the surveyor, if any given for survey of the property in pursuance of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.12404 of 2024 and take a decision within a period of one week from the date of receipt of requisition.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
