O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.1960 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.

2.It is seen from the F.I.R, the allegation made against the petitioner is that he exploded the crackers without any permission and causing disturbance to the public. Therefore, the respondent police registered a case against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 286 of IPC.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the allegations made against the petitioner is trivial in nature and the respondent has not yet filed any final report and as such the pendency of the F.I.R would not serve any purpose. Therefore, he seeks quashment of the F.I.R.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the nature of allegations alleged in the First Information Report is very trivial in nature and as such, the pendency of the FIR would not serve any purpose.

5. In view of the above, First Information Report in Crime No.1960 of 2019, is hereby quashed and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
