PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent No.1 to preserve the CCTV footages of Respondent No.2's police station from the date of 24.08.2023 at 06.00 am to 24.08.2023 at 18.00 pm by considering the Representation sent by the petitioner to Respondents No.1 dated 31.08.2023.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent No.1 to preserve the CCTV footages of Respondent No.2's police station from the date of 24.08.2023 at 06.00 am to 24.08.2023 at 18.00 pm by considering the Representation sent by the petitioner to Respondents No.1 dated 31.08.2023. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the representation that made by the petitioner has been considered and now the respondent has preserved the CCTV footage that was available in the occurrence place in the form of pen drive.

3.In view of the above said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) now the matter has become infructuous. If the petitioner wants the copy, he can approach the respondent as per the procedure.

4.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
