PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to complete the enquiry in Complaint dated 03.04.2018 filed by the petitioner under Rule No.20(2) of Tamilnadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 and pass orders at the earliest, in the interest of justice.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondent to complete the enquiry in Complaint dated 03.04.2018, filed by the petitioner under Rule No.20(2) of Tamilnadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 and pass orders.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that since the enquiry in complaint dated 03.04.2018 filed by the petitioner under Rule No.20(2) 2/5

of the Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 is pending before the second respondent, she is unable to reside in her house as the same was grabbed by her son viz., Ravindren. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to the second respondent to complete the enquiry in Complaint dated 03.04.2018, filed by the petitioner.

3. Heard Mr.V.Rajiv Rufus, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the third respondent.

Considering the above facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to complete the enquiry, on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.04.2018 under Rule No.20(2) of Tamilnadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of 3/5

hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
