ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by the purchaser from an assignee under Disposal of Surplus Lands Rules arising under Land Reforms Act.

2. According to the writ petitioner, patta transfer order was issued in the name of his vendor on 27.06.2016. However, the said order has not been implemented and patta has also not been issued in favour of his vendor. In the meantime, the petitioner has purchased the property from the said assignee. Thereafter, the petitioner has approached the Revenue Divisional Officer and Tahsildar for grant of patta. However, his applications are still pending. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. A perusal of the typedset of papers indicate that patta transfer orders have been passed by the second respondent herein in favour of the original assignee on 27.06.2016. However, the said order is yet to be implemented and patta is yet to be transferred in the name of the writ petitioner's vendor. The second respondent herein is directed to pass consequential orders to the same and thereafter, consider the request of the writ petitioner for transfer of patta in the name of the writ petitioner.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
