RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to condone the delay of 1660 days in filing the revision petition against the conviction and sentence imposed by the Court of the Principal Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputtur in CRL.A.No.62 of 2007 on 07.02.2015 in confirming the conviction and sentence imposed by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sattur in C.C.No.15 of 2006 on 05.03.2007 and thus render justice. Prayer in CRL RC(MD) SR.No.34722 of 2019:

To set aside the conviction and sentence imposed by the Court of the Principal Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputtur in CRL.A.No.62 of 2007 on 07.02.2015 in confirming the conviction and sentence imposed by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sattur in C.C.No.15 of 2006 on 05.03.2007 and allow this Criminal Revision Petition and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.JOTHI BASU, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.P.G.OHM CHAIRMA PRABHU, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 1660 days in representing the Crl.RC(MD)SR.No.34722 of 2019. 2.Heard both side.

CRL MP(MD) No.10252 of 2019 3.Mr.A.P.G.Oom Chairma Prabhu, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has strong objection for allowing this petition. 4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and in the interest of justice, this petition is allowed on payment of Rs.2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five hundred only) to the Chief Justice Relief Fund (payable in Accounts Section of the High Court Registry), within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without further reference to this Court. sd/- 19/12/2019 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
