PRAYER: Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to appoint the petitioner in the post of Junior Assistant and allow the petitioner to continue service in the 3rd respondent District TASMAC office, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated on 09.09.2019.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to appoint the petitioner in the post of Junior Assistant. Now, the petitioner is working as Supervisor. 2.The learned counsel for the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner participated in the process of selection for appointment to the post of Junior Assistant and was successfully and the petitioner secured lesser mark than that of the cut off mark for selection. W.P(MD).No.24468 of 2019 the petitioner scored 57 marks. Therefore, he was not selected for the post of Junior Assistant. Then the petitioner was not coming within the zone of consideration for filing a writ petition he cannot seek a direction to appoint him to the post of Junior Assistant. Thus the relief sought for in the present writ petition cannot be granted and accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
