The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 13.10.2022 and pay compensation for his land situate in S.No.179/2B, Alangulam Village, Tenkasi District, which was acquired by the respondents.
2. Heard the arguments of learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

According to the petitioner, he is residing in the above mentioned property and the officials of the respondents' Department informed the petitioner orally that the land was acquired for four-laning of nearby main road. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 13.10.2022, seeking compensation for the land belongs to him. The petitioner has also produced the joint patta in his name in patta No.7583 pertains to S.No.179/2B. The said representation submitted by the petitioner has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader who appear for the respondents produced Adangal extract for the fasli year 1432 and submitted that revenue records for the subject property stands in the name of One Chellam Ponnaiya and 8 others. However, the patta produced by the petitioner in the typed set of papers would indicate that the subject property stands in the name of three persons including the petitioner viz., Jeyakumari, Pushpalatha and Kannan.
5. In these circumstances, this Court, without expressing any 3/6
opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
