ORDER

The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to afford Police protection to the Petitioner for the purpose of cultivating of the Petitioner Agricultures land comprised S.No. 67/1A1, K.Alangulam Village, Thiruvengadam Taluk, Tenkasi District covered by Patta No.416.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents would submit that based on the complaint given CSR No.297 of 2022 was registered on 20.06.2022 and thereafter it was closed. The subject matter of the dispute was closed and the parties are advised to seek appropriate orders from the Civil Court.

3. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner by way of rejoinder submitted that the Petitioner had got injunction decree from the Civil Court and he is seeking protection on the basis of the decree from the very same Court which has granted decree.

4. In view of the same, the Police are bound to protect the decree.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
