ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Family Court, Tiruchirappalli, to expedite the proceedings in 1/4

H.M.O.P.No.322 of 2021 and dispose of the same within a stipulated period.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband. He filed a divorce petition in H.M.O.P.No.322 of 2021 before the Family Court, Tiruchirappalli. The trial Court referred the matter for counselling. Though the petitioner was regularly appearing for counselling, the respondent/wife sought for adjournments and did not co-operate for counselling. The trial Court, after receiving a report from the counselling centre that the matter has not been settled between the parties, has not proceeded with the matter and adjourned the same periodically. Therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction to the trial Court for early disposal of H.M.O.P.No.322 of 2021.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the trial Court, namely, 2/4

the Family Court, Tiruchirappalli, to expedite the trial proceedings and dispose of H.M.O.P.No.322 of 2021, within a period of seven months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
