ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2019 given to promote him as Executive (Engineer), within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.E.Marish Kumar, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he is working as Technician in the respondent Union for the past 35 years without any blemish. As per the amended bye-law of the respondent Union, the post of Technician is a feeder category for promotion to the post of Executive (Engineer). A Technician, who possesses three years working experience in handling diary plant, can be promoted as Executive (Engineer). Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation dated 09.10.2019 to the respondent, to promote him as a Executive (Engineer). However, the respondent has not passed any order, so far. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.

4.Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, without deciding the issue on merits, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2019, on merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
