O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by the wife of the deceased BRTE Teacher, seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents 2 and 3 to consider her representation to appoint her under the compassionate ground in any post in Group-C Cadre Service in Tamil Nadu Education Department.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, though the petitioner's husband has passed away on 26.10.2022, the terminal benefits have not been released. Therefore, she is not in a position to produce the Integrated Certificate.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the compassionate appointment can be granted only to Group-D Service and that too, based upon the seniority of the date of death of the deceased employee.

4. In view of the above said facts, the respondents 2 and 3 herein are directed to consider the request of the petitioner for appropriate job under the compassionate appointment quota after being satisfied with the documents furnished by the writ petitioner, following the seniority.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
