Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to reckon the petitioners' service from 03.01.2005 to 31.05.2006, 15.10.2004 to 31.05.2006, 01.07.2004 to 31.05.2006, 27.04.2005 to 31.05.2006, 15.10.2004 to 31.05.2006, 20.10.2004 to 31.05.2006,24.11.2004 to 31.05.2006,01.06.2005 to 31.05.2006,15.10.2004 to 31.05.2006, 27.08.2004 to 31.05.2006, 10.02.2005 to 31.05.2006, 15.10.2004 to 31.05.2006, 05.01.2005 to 31.05.2006, 15.10.2004 to 31.05.2006,01.11.2004 to 31.05.2006, 06.08.2004 to 31.05.2006,04.08.2003 to 31.05.2006, 15.10.2004 to 31.05.2006 and 16.07.2004 to 31.05.2006, respectively, for all their service benefits viz., Seniority, promotion, Selection grade and Special 3/5

In all WP's For Petitioner : Mr.S.Xavier Rajini For Respondents : Mr.M. Karuppasamy Government Advocate COMMON ORDER Since the issues involved in these Writ Petitions are one and the same and therefore, these Writ Petitions are heard together and disposed of by way of this common order.

2.Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, these Writ Petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioners were appointed as Junior Secondary Grade Teachers on consolidated pay on various dates from the year 2005. On the representations given by the various Teachers' Association, the first respondent issued G.O.Ms.No.99, School Education (Budget-2) Department, dated 27.06.2006 and brought the petitioners under time scale of pay with effect from 01.06.2006. According to the petitioners, the respondents are not taking into account the service rendered by them on consolidated pay for all service benefits namely Seniority, Promotion, Selection Grade and Special Grade etc. They made various representations for calculating the service rendered on consolidated pay and have come out with these present writ petitions.

Considering the nature of relief sought for in these writ petitions, the petitioners are directed to give the copy of the representations along with service particulars rendered by them on consolidated pay enclosing the copy of this order to Second respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representations, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve

(12) weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, all these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
