PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to 1/4

direct the respondent No.1 to 3 to provide Police Protection to the petitioner and his family members from the Respondents No.4 to 7 and their henchmen by considering his representation dated 25.09.2023 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

For Petitioner :Mr.T.Vadivelan For Respondent :Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi Government Advocate (crl.side) O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent No.1 to 3 to provide Police Protection to the petitioner and his family members from the Respondents No.4 to 7 and their henchmen by considering his representation dated 25.09.2023 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that yesterday only the respondent police have received the above said representation and they will enquire the same within the stipulated by this Court.

3.Let the above said representation dated 25.09.2023, be disposed of by the 2/4

respondent police within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by summoning the petitioner as well as the counter parties and also by finding out the ground situation. Depending upon the outcome of enquiry, the parties shall workout their remedies through appropriate proceedings, if so, aggrieved.

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
