PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to pass an Order of Direction, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Ramanathapuram to speedy dispose the criminal case in C.C. Side) O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Ramanathapuram, to dispose the criminal case in C.C. No. 1/4

119 of 2022 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in the C.C.No.119 of 2022. He gave a complaint before the respondent police, which was registered in Crime No. 267 of 2021, for the offence punishable under Sections 465, 420 of IPC and Section 12(1)(b) of Passport Act, 1967. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2021, so far no progress is made in the trial process.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the trial commenced and PW1 was examined in chief.

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, to expedite the trial process in C.C.No.119 of 2022, and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of with the above said direction.
