This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to reclassify the land measuring 2 Acres out of 3 Acres 85 Cents in S.No.94/1 in Subramaniapuram village (Thirumangalapattinam) in Manalmelkudi Taluk, from Mayanam to private land and to direct the fifth respondent to grant patta to the said land in favour of the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a suit in O.S. No.118 of 2024 has been filed on the file of the District Court, Pudukottai, in respect of the issue involved in the present writ petition and that the petitioner intends to pursue the matter before the said Civil Court. 2/4

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
