PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to transfer the investigation in Crime No.26 of 2022 from the file of the 3rd Respondent to the file of the 4th Respondent and consequently direct the 4th Respondent to conduct proper investigation in an expeditious 1/5

manner and to file final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.26 of 2022 from the file of the 3rd Respondent to the file of the 4th Respondent and consequently direct the 4th Respondent to conduct proper investigation in an expeditious manner and to file final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. When the mater is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit investigation had been completed and final report filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudi and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.900 of 2022. 3.Since the investigation had been completed the Petitioner shall approach the learned Magistrate and seek further investigation. 2/5

4. This Court had earlier passed order in Crl.O.P(MD)No.16340 of 2022 dated 15.09.2022 in the very same crime number seeking direction to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Thoothukudi District to complete the investigation . Since the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation had been completed the Petitioner shall move the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate regarding any relief as per law.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
