[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 15.
2.It is seen from the communication of the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Endowments Department, dated 01.07.2024, that a list of about 77 temples, which are more than 1000 years old has already been
prepared by the Department and action for renovation of those temples as well as action to protect the properties of those temples is under way. 3.In view of the same, we do not see any necessity to issue a Mandamus as prayed for. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to renew if no renovation takes place within one year from today. No Costs.
