O R D E R
The instant Writ Petition has been filed by the Road Inspector Grade-II seeking mandamus to dispose of his representations, wherein he has sought for revision/re-fixing the pay and promotion as per G.O.Ms.No.1858(PWD), dated 22.10.1969 and G.O.Ms.No.856(PWD), dated 01.06.1977.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, similarly placed 2/5
persons have approached this Court in W.P.(MD)Nos.7738 to 7749 of 2008, in which, orders were passed by this Court on 12.12.2012 and the said order was confirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.(MD)Nos. 262 to 273 of 2016 vide order dated 23.02.2017. Therefore, the petitioner, being a similarly placed person, has sent representations on 31.05.2023 and 25.02.2024, seeking the said benefits to the respondents 3 and 5. Since the same has not been considered, the instant Writ Petition has been filed.
3. Considering the abovesaid facts, the fifth respondent herein is directed to consider the said representations and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of, with above directions. No costs.
