PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for records relating to FIR in Crime No.281 of 2022 dated 15.10.2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Alanganallur Police Station, Madurai and quash the same as against the petitioner. 1/4

For petitioners : Mr.P.Balasubramanian For R-1 : Mr.S.Manikandan, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash FIR in Crime No. 281 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 323 and 506(1) IPC and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(1)(u) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 on the file of the first respondent Police, insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent Police would submit that in the absence of any interim order, the respondent Police has conducted investigation in Crime No.281 of 2022 and on completion of investigation, the respondent Police has filed a charge sheet before the concerned Court. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
