PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli (prevention of Civil Rights Court), to consider and pass orders on the bail application along with surrender of the Petitioner in Crime No.15 of 2022 pending on the file of the Respondent police on the same day.

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli (Prevention of Civil Rights Court), to consider and pass orders on the bail application along with surrender of the Petitioner in Crime No.15 of 2022 pending on the file of the Respondent police on the same day.

2.The Petitioner is the accused for the offences punishable under Sections 376,312 of IPC and Section 3(2)(v) and 3(2)(vii) of SC/ST(POA) Amendment Act,1989 in Crime No. 15 of 2022, pending on the file of the second Respondent Police and apprehending arrest, he has filed the present Petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the nature of offences alleged against the Petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Petitioner is directed to 2/5

surrender before the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli (prevention of Civil Rights Court) within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order or 15 days from the date of uploading the order copy on the website of this Court. The learned Judge shall consider the bail application of the Petitioner and dispose of the same as per law. The learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli (prevention of Civil Rights Court) , shall cause notice to the De-Facto Complainant regarding the bail application when the bail application is filed.
