Mr.N.Jeyaram, Advocate PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.19 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 85, 296(b), 351(2) of BNS Act and Section 4 of 1/3

TNPHW Act in Crime No.19 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons harassed the defacto complainant by demanding additional dowry. The petitioner is arrayed as A1. 3.This Court has already granted anticipatory bail to A2 and A3 by order dated 17.10.2024. The matter was referred to mediation insofar as A1 and the defacto complainant are concerned.

4.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the parties were able to reach a settlement and the settlement agreement was placed before this Court.

5.In the light of the above development, the respondent Police is directed to call the parties and record their statement and close the FIR pending in Cr.No.19 of 2024. This process shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
