and issuing a revised area of land as 6 1/4 cents in the said patta No. 219, getting survey measured the area of land of 6 1/4 cents with survey map ordering the respondents making correct entries relating to the area of land 6 1/4 cents in all the revenue and survey records maintained by them.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to cancel the incorrect entries made in patta No. 219 and revise the same.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the patta was issued with wrong measurements. Therefore, she has approached the authorities by way of a grievance petition on 14.06.2024 before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Madurai and on 29.07.2024 by another grievance petition, he approached the District Collector, Madurai. However the same were not considered and the respondents have not corrected the mistake in the 2/5

patta. Hence, she was constrained to file this petition. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submits that some mistake has been committed during the town survey and it needs to be corrected and it requires sufficient time to correct the mistake and to issue a fresh patta to the petitioner. 4.This Court has considered the rival submissions made. 5.The respondents have fairly admitted that a mistake was committed during the town survey and needs to be corrected. However, they require three months time to correct the mistake. 6.Therefore, the second respondent shall ensure that necessary corrections are carried out and a fresh patta has been issued to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
