ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order, 1982 r/w. 7(1)(a)(II) of EC Act, 1955 in Crime No.350 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.
3. Considering the nature of allegation in this case that the petitioner is said to have been illegal possession of 1080 Kgs of PDS rice and considering the fact that the petitioner has got 13 previous cases of similar nature, this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
