O R D E R
The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a retired employee of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits.
2. The petitioner herein had attained superannuation on 31.07.2022 and the terminal benefits were released on 30.05.2023. Seeking interest, the petitioner has sent a representation on 20.08.2024. Since there is no response, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents are directed to pay 6% p.a interest from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of, with above directions. No costs.
