ORDER
Aggrieved by the issuance of patta by the 2nd respondent in favour of the 4th respondent in respect of S.No.107 at Idaikal village, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, the petitioner had made a representation, dated 11.06.2024 to the 1st respondent to cancel the said patta. Though the application had been made as early as on 11.06.2024, the 1st respondent is yet to process the said representation except for issuing notice on 10.07.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court for a writ of mandamus.
2. Considering the above facts, a mandamus is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.06.2024 and pass orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
3. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
