ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking direction to the District Munsif Court, Tiruchendur to expedite the execution proceedings in E.P.No.1 of 2022 in O.S.No.187 of 1996 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the final decree came to be passed on 06.07.2021; that the decree holder has filed an execution petition for delivery in E.P.No.1 of 2022 and that the same is pending for enquiry. He would further submit that the case is being adjourned again and again and that the petitioner, who is a senior citizen, is unable to get the fruits of the decree.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the fact that the execution petition is pending for the past 1 1⁄2 years, the Executing Court is hereby directed to conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed. of. No costs.
