ORDER
This Contempt Petition is filed alleging that the order of this Court dated 12.03.2024 passed in W.P.(MD)No.5914 of 2024 has not been complied with.
2. The petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing a writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.5914 of 2024 for a Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider his representations dated 03.01.2024, 09.01.2024 and 16.02.2024, that there is an illegal administration in the affairs of Emaneswaram Muslim Jamath, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District.
3. This Court, by order dated 12.03.2024, disposed of the writ petition, recording the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the Wakf Board that based on the petitioner's representations, they have contemplated an enquiry and the enquiry was held on 11.03.2024 and after hearing other parties, necessary orders would be passed. This Court has not issued any direction to the respondents to complete the enquiry within a 2/4
stipulated time. In the meantime, it appears that the petitioner has filed another writ petition for the very same relief through another counsel in W.P.(MD)No.25474 of 2024 and this Court, by order dated 25.10.2024, disposed of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent to conclude the enquiry within a period of four weeks.
4. The learned counsel for the Wakf Board, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the petitioner has not co-operated for enquiry and he did not appear for enquiry on 15.10.2024. He further submits that a further notice was issued to the petitioner for his appearance on 19.11.2024.
5. In view of the subsequent order passed by this Court in W.P. (MD)No.25474 of 2024 dated 25.10.2024, this Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.25474 of 2024, dated 25.10.2024. 06.11.2024 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
