ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by the son of the deceased who was working in the second respondent office, seeking a mandamus for issuance of an order for compassionate appointment.

2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, his father who was working as an Assistant in the second respondent office has passed away on 21.05.2014 and an application seeking compassionate appointment was presented on 09.07.2014. The second respondent has forwarded the said proposals to the first respondent on 13.10.2022. So far, orders have not been passed by the first respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the proposals forwarded by the second respondent on 13.10.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
