This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members, based on the representation dated 19.09.2023. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members, based on the representation dated 19.09.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner purchased a property in Survey No.2412 / 10A and 1196/2B and putting up a construction. Alleging that the private respondents / neighbours are making trouble, a complaint was given by the petitioner 2/5

and a case was registered in Crime No.84 of 2023 under Sections 447, 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC. Pending investigation, frequent trouble has been made upon which a representation was made on 19.09.2023, seeking police protection.

3. Learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that the complaint dated 19.09.2023 has not been received by the second respondent.

4. It is seen that already a FIR has been registered against the private respondents. There is no question of granting police protection for the purpose of putting up construction. The petitioner can very well approach the civil Court for appropriate remedy.

5. With this liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. (G I J) 05.10.2023 pnn 3/5
