ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to quash the FIR in Crime No.315 of 2024 pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. It is evident from the records that on the basis of the complaint given by the second respondent, FIR came to be registered in Crime No. 315 of 2024 on 27.06.2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(2) IPC, Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and Section 3 of TN Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has already filed the final report and the case was taken on file in P.R.C.No.15 of 2024 and is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandhur.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised.
