Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application dated 02.02.2021 seeking patta in respect of the petitioner's land in Survey No. 70/5, Pudukkottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application dated 02.02.2021.

2. The application dated 02.02.2021 has been filed by the petitioner seeking patta to his lands in S.No.70/5, Pudukkottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, which the petitioner has purchased under a registered sale deed dated 30.01.1991. The property measures an extent of 65 cents.

3. The petitioner had submitted an application on 02.02.2021, which has not been processed to date. Therefore, considering the request of the petitioner that an application has been made as early as on 02.02.2021, a mandamus is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
