O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take action on the representation given by the petitioner dated 22.08.2022 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is running a Jewellery shop in the name and style of Sri Mahayee Jewellers. He would further submit that in front of his shop, some street vendors, who are doing business, caused difficult to the people. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 22.08.2022. Since no action has been taken by the respondent Police, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent Police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2022. 2/5

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the third respondent Police and appropriate orders will be passed within a reasonable time.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent Police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
