ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of her representation dated 17.08.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the sister of the third respondent, that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.244 of 2024 and that since the respondents 3 and 4 have refused to allow the petitioner to take her case bundles available in the property, which now in the occupation of the respondents 3 and 4, the petitioner was constrained to give a petition for police protection.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that no such case bundles were available as stated by the petitioner and that after the lapse of six months, the petitioner has given the petition, as if, it was available in the house. 2/4

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.244 of 2024 on 07.09.2024 against the respondents 3 and 4 and another and investigation is pending and that subsequently the petitioner has sent a complaint through post and is pending.

5. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as to the private respondents and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
