ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the 1/3

offences punishable under Section 379 of IPC and Section 3 of Railway Property (Unlawful Possession) Act, in Crime No.Not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has indulged in theft of high voltage electric cable and iron scraps belonging to the Indian Railway. Hence, the complaint.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the the petitioner has committed grievous offence and opposed to grant anticipatory bail on the ground that the investigation is still pending.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and taking note of the nature of offences alleged to have been committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
