ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the 1/3

offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 397 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.378 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons have threatened the de-facto complainant by demanding a sum of Rs.2,000/- and abused him and attacked him with dire consequences. Hence, the case. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side)appearing for the respondent police. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that as against the petitioner, more number of cases are pending against the petitioner in similar nature and hence, he strongly oppose to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) and also taking note of the previous antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
