ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.190 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police intercepted the first accused and recovered 1.100kgs of Ganja. Based on his confession, the petitioner has been implicated in this case.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.Considering the nature of allegations in this case that the accused from whom 1.100kgs of Ganja was recovered is said to have confessed that he procured the Ganja in the present petitioner and the investigation is still pending, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 25/10/2024 / TRUE COPY / /11/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
