The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to process the petitioner's application dated 16.04.2022, seeking sub division and issuance of separate patta in respect of the property situate in T.S.No.120, Block No.20, Birds Road, K.Abhishekapuram Village, Trichy Cantonment.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Arumugam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jaya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 3.
3. According to the petitioner, she purchased 4160 sq.ft of plot in the above mentioned property under a registered document dated 24.03.2022 and thereafter, applied for subdivision and transfer of patta through online on 16.04.2022. The said application submitted by the petitioner has not been considered by the authorities. Therefore, the 2/4
petitioner has come before this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate, who appear for the respondents would submit that the online application submitted by the petitioner would be considered on its own merits, within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.04.2022, seeking subdivision and issuance of patta and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
