(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 28.05.2022, and the WhatsApp complaint dated 16.10.2022, 20.10.2022 and 12.11.2022 and consequently, for a direction to the respondents to take expeditious steps to lay the temporary road to their street at Ward No.4, Kamaraj Nagar, Anaiyur, Valluvar Colony, Madurai - 625 017, within a time frame.

Heard Mr.V.Muthumani, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.S.Vinayak, 2/5
learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.
Claiming that the respondents are carrying on laying of underground drainage and drinking water pipelines from the year 2020 and till date the said work has not been completed, and though in Ward No.4, Kamaraj Nagar, Anaiyur, Valluvar Colony, Madurai - 625 017, the underground drainage pipelines and drinking water pipelines were laid four months ago, no road is laid so far, due to which, the roads are muddy and it creates lot of inconvenience to the residents, the petitioner submitted a representation to the second respondent on 28.05.2022, and the same, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, remains as such. Hence, the Writ Petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, she would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of her representation dated 28.05.2022, within a time frame.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, either in the representation or in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.05.2022, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all other parties concerned and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
