PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members and also to the petitioner's property 1/5

based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2023. For Petitioner :Mr.P.Sureshkumar For Respondent :Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi Government Advocate (Crl. Side) O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members and also to the petitioner's property based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2023. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the private respondents frequently made trouble, in enjoying the common pathway. Hence, the above said complaint has been given.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner enquiry is undertaken in C.S.R.No.621 of 2023. During the course of enquiry, both parties appeared. This petitioner given undertaking that he will resolve the said issue through civil proceedings. On the basis of the above said undertaking the said complaint has been closed. 2/5

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in spite the above said undertaking frequent trouble has been made by the fourth respondent. Let the parties workout their remedy through civil proceedings. There is no question of police protection to any one of the parties. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
