ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the 1/3
respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379 of IPC in Crime No.369 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has committed the theft of a car bearing Reg.No.TN-66-P-5909 (TATA MAXI CAB 407) belonging to one Venkatesan, who is the buyer from the de-facto complainant. Hence, the case. 3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and a false complaint has been given. He would also submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence, as alleged by the prosecution and he was falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he would pray for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the petitioner has committed the theft of a car bearing Reg.No.TN-66-P-5909 (TATA Maxi Cab 407) belonging to one Venkatesan, who is the buyer from the de-facto complainant. He would strongly oppose to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the gravity of 2/3
