Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 7 days emergency leave to the petitioner by name Sudalaimuthu, son of Nalla Perumal, aged about 43 years, now confining as a life convict (C.P.No.12000) at Trichy Central Prison, to see his ailing mother under Rule 6 of the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982 forthwith.

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant 7 days emergency leave to the petitioner by name Sudalaimuthu, S/o.Nalla Perumal, aged about 43 years, now confining as a life convict (C.P.No.12000) at Trichy Central Prison, to see his ailing mother.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) for the respondents would submit that the request of the petitioner has been conceded, however, since sufficient escorts are not provided by the Deputy Commissioner of Armed Reserved Force, the petitioner has not been sent.
