The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Special Grade Conductor in the respondents Transport Corporation, who attained superannuation on 31.05.2019, seeking mandamus for the disbursement of the surrender leave salary for 73 days with 6% interest per annum from the due date till the actual payment.
2. Seeking the said benefit, the petitioner has sent a representation on 26.08.2024. Since there is no response, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to consider the representation of the Writ Petitioner dated 26.08.2024 and release the eligible benefits along with 6% interest per annum from the due date till the date of disbursement within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of, with above directions. No costs.
