ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition for police protection.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, they learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the dispute is civil in nature. As a matter of fact, the suit filed by the petitioner stands dismissed. Therefore, if and when the petitioner succeeds in any appeal or if any order, which is passed in the favour of the petitioner by the civil Court, thereafter, the petitioner will be at liberty to approach the respondent police for protection and the respondent police can give protection, only in terms of the Civil Court decree alone.

4. With such liberty preserved to the petitioner, the petition stands disposed of.
