PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2023 and consequently to provide the police protection to life and limb of the petitioner.

O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2023 and consequently to provide the police protection to life and limb of the petitioner.

2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3.Heard both sides.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was 2/5

undertaken in C.No.680 of 2023. During the course of enquiry, both sides appeared. On the basis of the undertaking given by the respondent No.5, the above said complaint was closed. In the above said statement, the fifth respondent stated that he will not make any trouble to the petitioner in future and in respect of property issue, they will resolve the issue through civil process.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this matter. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 09.10.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No Indu 3/5
