[Order of the Court was made by P. VELMURUGAN, J.] This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnor/ third respondent for his willful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P(MD) No.4076 of 2023 dated 28.02.2023
2. The learned Additional Advocate General would submit that though there is some deviation and lackness on the part of the Revenue and Panchayat Department, now they have been given proper Page No.2 of 5
instructions. Further, show cause notice was also issued to the erring officials and they have also given instructions to comply with the Government Orders and Rules & Schemes .
3. Recording the above, the Contempt Petition stands closed for the present. However, the respondents are directed to strictly comply with the orders passed by this Court and also adhere to the Tamil Nadu Grama Sabha (Quorum and Procedure for Convening and Conducting of Meetings) Rules,1998 by passing resolution on the Scheme in its true letter and spirit and are also directed to consider the grievance expressed by the public and pass a necessary resolution regarding the same, including the feasibility of allotment of appropriate funds.
